This historic Fort Screven structure has been completely restored and renovated. Originally built as one of three mess halls for the fort, this home has had a long and colorful history including time as a boarding house. Now a beautifully restored duplex (the other side is our Screened Inn Cottage), the Mess Hall features tall ceilings with ceiling fans, extra large windows in every room, hardwood floors and a wonderful wraparound screened-in porch. The cottage is ground level, easy to access, and has complimentary parking for 4 cars. Complete with high-speed & wireless Internet.
The fenced-in yard is perfect for pets and children and has the island's largest eucalyptus tree, large palms and live oaks. The winding streets that surround the cottage are also perfect for walking your pet or riding bikes.
